President Paudel Attends Reception Hosted by Nepali Embassy

Geneva: President Ramchandra Paudel attended a reception organized in his honor by the Nepali Embassy in Geneva.

The reception saw President Paudel being welcomed by Nepal's Ambassador to Switzerland, Ram Prasad Subedi, along with members of the Nepali community living and working in Switzerland. During the event, Ambassador Subedi briefed President Paudel on various facets of Swiss-Nepal relations, including development and cooperation efforts, as well as the status of the Nepali diaspora in Switzerland.

Ambassador Subedi highlighted the significance of the recent meeting between the Presidents of Nepal and Switzerland, which occurred for the first time in 25 years, marking a strengthening of bilateral relations. He also noted that President Paudel's keynote address at the opening session of the Global Alliance for Social Justice program has enhanced Nepal's international profile.

The event was part of the high-level session of the 112th International Labor Conference of the International Labor Organization (ILO) in Geneva. President Paudel is scheduled to depart for a friendly visit to Germany tomorrow, as per information from the President's personal secretariat.
